Sunglasses required to view this post.

blouse: Gap outlet
Skirt: Jcrew Clearance
Necklace: Handmade
shoes: uh DSW?
Bangles: XXI

I apologize for the legs. I promise to apply self tanner before I pull out the next skirt (Which may be one of the three(!) I found yesterday thrifting, Jcrew with tags on, just saying). But seriously, they blend into my white shoes. HOW EMBARASSING!

Oh and see those bushes behind me, there happened to be a hiding bird in there that did not like me shooting too close to him. I would like to say the auto timer caught my reaction, but I got out of there too fast. So instead there were 5 pictures of the bush while I stopped shaking.

PS: some of you have emailed me about this necklace from another post. No, I do not have an etsy store (but thanks for asking, and yes I have been working out, just joking ;) ). I made it from a tutorial online found here but with less flowers and with ribbon instead of chain. Mainly because I am lazy. If you have questions feel free to ask. If you dont want to make your own, email me and we can work something out.

DIY rope bracelets

This project will cost you approx: $0.50 and is inspired from:

Supplies:

Scissors, Cord (I bought this roll at the dollar store, and its halfway used up), embroidery thread of your color choice.

LETS GET CRAFTING
Cut a bunch of string and tie it in a knot halfway down. Then Shape to your wrist and tie there. Remember you have to make it big enough to slip on and off.

Take thread and tie around cord ( make sure you wrap the split ends of the cord to the main bracelet), then wrap, wrap, wrap. I double up the thread to make this go faster. Tie off at end.

Continue doing this in different sizes/ colors to your hearts delight!

Enjoy your cheap, chic, colorful new bracelets.
Please comment if you have any questions and would love to see a picture of yalls final products!

What Ive been DIYing: Antro inspired notebooks

Jacket: Gap outlet
Dress: Ross
Boots: thrifted
Necklace: XXI
Headband: spice
Im just going to skim over this outfit. The complete truth behind it is that I was bloating and didnt want something tight on my tummy.
On a more interesting note:

These have been a great project! They are so easy that I was able to invite some girls over to make some with me after they loved mine. They fit perfectly in a bible/planner/purse. And are way cheaper than the moleskins.

Not So Bad

Shirt: Target boys section
Skirt: Charlotte Russe
Tights: Karli
Boots: Thrifted
Hair flower: XXI
Locket: Grandmother's
I had this Monday off and was reminded Monday's aren't so bad when you sleep in and do as you wish. I did however have to go to the dentist. Not my most favorite place to go. I feel like with all the technology out these days we could have come up with a better method than metal tools scraping off the plaque. I need to get to work on coming up with something. Like Nair for removing plaque. Naque.

In my down time today I made THIS via Ucreate! and another little messenger bag that y'all will see eventually.

Back to School

Jacket-Thrifted
Shirt- Target
Scarf- Homemade
Jeans-Lucky Brand
Shoes-TOMS (you can't tell in the picture but they are SPARKLY!)
My emotions have been a little confused today. I was sad because my break is officially over and I had to go back to school, which meant I had to study. But I was happy because it is my momma's birthday and I only have two more weeks of this set of awfully boring and time consuming classes. I can make it TWO weeks, I think. Ill let you know if I dont.
Oh and this scarf was a SUPER easy DIY project. After cleaning out my closet, I just chopped off the torso of an old sweater and badda-bing it became an infinity scarf!
