Okay so, this summer I had been slacking to say the least on my outfit posts. You see, my summer style isnt really photoshoot worthy I felt. It was either nike shorts and a tee or cut offs and a tank. Sure it can be cute, but theres only so many variations.
Also, Tomorrow is the big day that I move to COLLEGE! and I have been thinking if this blog is something I want to keep up with as I move along. Because heres the deal. If I am embarassed to pull out my tripod in the neighborhood I have lived in for 12 years, there is no way on Gods green earth I will be doing it on campus as a freshman.
In addition, I would like to evolve it into more a blog about just my life in general so I could keep those I have moved away from in touch.
I love the creative outlet, and I cant guarentee I will be consistent or that it wont be all dorm shots, but if you can deal with it, im in for the long haul.

Okay so yall know I have been a fan of the arm party for a while now. So when it was announced as the next BDIB challenge I thought well okay thats easy! But no, it is a CHALLENGE. Usually I wear all gold bracelets but I really tried to give my bracelets a summer vibe and tried to make it have more of a "party" vibe. In other news, it is HOT in Dallas. My all black interior car read 116 when I got into it yesterday and let me tell you, those bangles get burning fast! Maybe I watch too much Man vs Wild but I have a feeling this may be able to come in handy for me some day.

How we ate and shopped our way through Austin
Hit up Uncommon Objects and SoCo. It's too bad my dorm is so small other wise I would be all for half of this weird stuff moving on in with me.
Mom and I at Bess Bistro, Sandra Bullocks restaurant and probably our favorite spot we found.
The panini was INSANE, and they had peach cobbler.SOLD.
We may or may not have gotten a little turned around at times.
We went to the farmers market on Saturday market and second best to this fresh squeezed melonade in my hand was the people watching.
And most importantly, we hit up some AMAZING sales. Even these tags had additional percentage off. Although Austin didnt come through for me with thrift and vintage clothing, by no means did I come home empty handed.
And can't forget about heaven in the form of a trailer truck called Hey Cupcake.

Bangles: DIY and Thrifted
Sorry to be gone for so long. One of my excuses was a week of it I was forbidden from internet and my phone so friendships could flourish. The last part was just pure laziness.
I had my first stay at my college and spent time with an awesome group of people that I cant wait to see around campus.
and this weekend my mom and I will be going to Austin and my number one goal is shopping. Thrift shopping, outlet shopping, uncommon objects shopping. Seeing scores like THIS over at My Edit make me all the more excited.
ps: join the party

I wish she would tell me how much hers cost. Cause mine is under $50 including the shoes and I would bet her shoes that hers isnt...
