a very scary lunch
Tops:thrifted
Shorts: Aeropostal
Necklace: Gma
Shoes:XXI
Belt:Target
Today I had lunch with two girlfriends- one my age then one who is already at my university. And I will be honest. She kinda has us anxious. Now it isn't her fault, it is just the nature of the beast but is all about one main issue. Making friends. You see, she says it is hard to make friends if you don't rush but I wasn't really planning on it due to expenses. Anyway. I figured I had a network of wise women that have been here before and it is worth a shot to ask. PLEASE HELP ME!
Were you in a sorority? Was it the best way for you to make friends? Will I only have cats if I don't rush? I don't even like cats!

Making best friends in Gap
Skirt: Gap
Top: American Eagle
Bracelets: gift and mexico
Shoes:charming charlies
I feel like I guilt tripped my way home with this skirt. You see it rang up full price even though it and about 15 of its twins were hanging right under a 50% off sign. And so when I told this to the clerk and said nevermind heavy with disappointment she had someone go and see where they were hanging. She agreed it was confusing and gave me the half off anyway! I was so glad to not have to part with this skirt. I think it will be great year round with boots or tights. Okay, love letter over.

(fitpost)
My main problems have been boredom and peach cobbler. Seriously. I know the workouts are so important but sometimes it is hard to go to the gym and do the exact same thing every time. This week I did a water workout and fun abs video. Then, the gym workout becomes comforting rather than boring.
One thing I have learned is that there are certain foods worth the calories and certain foods that aren't. Recently a Heart Attack grill set up shop in Dallas and there is a burger worth 5 DAYS of calories. That is NOT worth it. Coleslaw-not worth it. Homemade peach cobbler. Worth ever single one of its calories.

An outfit made well
Dress: Walmart Bangles:Thrifted,XXI,Canton Belt:from a shirt Necklace XXI Wedges:old
There are very a few stores that I hold near and dear to my heart. Go ahead and call me shallow but whatever, they make pretty things and pretty things make me happy. Unfortunatly, I don't shop as much as I look in those stores. If I did have other pesky things to save for like college I would blow most every cent in the perfectly decorated walls of these places. So in my online shopping stalking of Madewells beautiful website I was delirious to see this look that could be recreated with a dress I bought at WALMART! The posing however, I could work on.

There is something about summer that makes me think of the most gorgeous shades of blue. Like the shades in the ocean, in a summer sky, in a sparkling swimming pool, in a fun pedicure, in bright dresses, in Mexican tiles. Need further convincing? Count the shades of blue you see here.
Alright, blogger meet up wherever that is, sound good? anyone else have a favorite seasonal color?
